About Frank

What if we need more support one month and less the next?
You can prioritize and top up your legal hours in the platform, and scale up or down as the business moves.
Who will I actually be working with?
A dedicated person who gets to know your business, not a different name every time. You won't have to re-explain who you are or what you do on every request.
What does "embedded legal support" actually mean day to day?
It means we work where you work. We're in your Slack or Teams, we see your context, and you see every request, hour and cost in one place. We aim to be in the room before a problem starts, not brought in to clean it up afterwards.
What happens if I actually need to go to court?
A handful of matters, court representation among them, are reserved for lawyers by law. When you hit one, we hand it over to the lawyers at Molteberg Nilsen so you're never left to sort it out alone.
We already use a law firm. Do we have to stop working with them?
No, not at all. Keep them for large scale legal matters that they excel at. Use Frank for the everyday legal work that's too expensive to keep sending their way. You can run both side by side.
What's included, and what isn't?
We cover the legal work growing companies run into day to day: employment, contracts, privacy and compliance, and corporate. What we don't do is act as your litigator in court. When something needs an advokat, we can bring one in from Molteberg Nilsen.
Is what I tell Frank confidential?
Yes. Everything you share with us is treated as confidential, and we handle it that way from the first conversation.
Who is the team behind Frank?
Frank is new, but the people aren't. Frank is built and backed by an established law firm and the team behind Amby. The company is young, but the experience behind it isn't.
Are you a law firm?
We are a legal advisory firm, not your traditional law firm. In 2025, Norwegian law opened legal advice up beyond traditional advokat firms, and Frank was built for exactly that. We're backed by the law firm Molteberg Nilsen, so you get experienced legal advisors helping you with ongoing legal matters.
How is Frank different from a traditional law firm?
We work embedded in your business, not outside it. That means faster responses, transparent pricing, and lawyers who already understand how you operate.
What does pricing look like?
Clear and upfront. We work on fixed monthly subscriptions or set project fees, so you know what you're getting and what it costs from day one.
What kind of companies do you work with?
We work with growing companies who need legal input regularly but don't want the overhead of a full in-house team or the price of a traditional firm. We work a lot with founders and leadership teams that make key business decisions.
How do we get started?
Start with a 30-minute call. We'll listen to where your business is, what you're working on, and what kind of legal support would actually help. If Frank's a fit, we'll take it from there.
Can we try Frank without a long commitment?
Yes. We work month-to-month, so you're not tied to anything long-term. You can scale up, scale down, or step away whenever it makes sense.
Is anyone at your company named Frank?
No, not yet. But we are hiring, so maybe one day.
